Terms and Conditions of SAVOTTA Store

These terms and conditions are valid from August 17, 2018, until further notice. Updated on November 28, 2024.

The Student Union of Savonia University of Applied Sciences (hereinafter the online store) sells products to students of Savonia University of Applied Sciences within Finland and the EU. We reserve the right to change the terms and prices. The membership and card products in the online store are VAT-exempt member products.

Payment Service Provider

The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, please contact the product supplier first.

Ordering

Products are generally ordered through the online store via the internet. All orders are confirmed by email, which will include the price of the order, shipping costs, and the ordered products. Receiving an order confirmation requires providing an email address during the order process.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions applicable at the time of the order.

Order and Payment Confirmation

We will send an order confirmation via email, which will include:

• A list of the ordered products
• The total amount of the invoice
• A breakdown of taxes

You will receive a payment confirmation from Paytrail Oyj, which will indicate the payment amount, payment identifier, and the date of the transaction. If you have any questions about the payment process, please contact Paytrail (020 718 1830 / asiakaspalvelu@paytrail.com).

Payment Methods

Products must be paid for at the time of the order. The following payment methods are available in the online store: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Aktia, Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Oma Säästöpankki, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Collector invoice and installment options, Jousto invoice and installment options, Paytrail account. Payments are processed through Paytrail Oyj’s website.

Exchange and Return Policy

Membership products can be returned for full credit for unused semesters. Requests for membership fee refunds must be made via email to toimisto@opiskelijakuntasavotta.fi. Please include the following information with your return:

• Your name
• Your field of study
• Your address
• Your phone number
• Your bank account number
