Did Your Mobile Student Card Stop Working?
The Slice.fi mobile student card checks the validity of your study rights from Savonia and the status of your membership fee in the SAVOTTA membership register.
If Your Mobile Student Card Has Stopped Working, the Reason Might Be One of the Following:
- Your study rights at Savonia have ended, you have graduated, or there have been other changes in your study status. The mobile student card is only valid for degree students who are currently enrolled.
- Your student union membership fee for the academic year has not been paid.
Please pay your membership fee in the student union’s online store or at the service points. - You have not picked up the new validity sticker for your physical student card from the service points, or you have not requested activation of your mobile student card.
Go pick up a sticker at service points or ask for activation of your mobile student card. - Wait until you receive the message “Academic year sticker handed over / Mobile student card activated” in your e-mail.
After this, reset your Slice mobile student card ID from this link. Use Savonia’s student email. After the reset, you will receive a new username in Savonia’s email immediately. Please note that after activating the mobile student card, it takes about two hours for the card’s validity to update in the system.
