Representative Council of the Student Union are today at Campus!
Many students may have encountered situations where they are asked for their opinion on something or invited to share their thoughts on a past or upcoming change. Opinions are often sought to spark discussion and provide confidence in one’s own perspective. The topic can be something broader, such as campus facilities, or something as simple as whether cheese or cold cuts should go on top of a sandwich. A good discussion is often valuable, offering new perspectives on issues that affect us students.
With the municipal and regional elections approaching, it is a great time to discuss matters important to students and how we can influence the well-being of students and student culture. The Student Union SAVOTTA has gathered thoughts and considered how we can present a unified vision of the future of Kuopio—a Kuopio that recognizes students’ needs and where students can confidently say that our city is the best place to study. You will likely hear more about these ideas as the elections draw closer.
Today, on February 26th, the representative council of the Student Union SAVOTTA will be present at Campus Heart, from 10AM to 1PM. We want to know if our students feel any changes are needed on campus, and if so, what kind of changes? Come and answer our survey, and if you wish, leave your contact details for a chance to win a prize. While you’re at it, feel free to check out what else we have to offer and share how your day is going!
Best regards,
Jonne Heikkinen
Chair of the Representative Council, Student Union SAVOTTA
