How to Join as a Member

1. Grant Data Transfer Permission and Wait for the Confirmation Email
2. Participate in the student card photo sessions or upload your photo for the student card order in the online store. If you placed your student card order without a photo, you can add one later here
3. Pay the membership fee at Microkatu campus service points or online
4. If you paid the membership fee online, submit an activation request for the mobile student card
5. You will receive login credentials for the Slice.fi mobile student card in your Savonia email within 24 hours
6. You will also receive an email notification in your Savonia email once your physical student card is ready for pickup at the campus service points. The validity sticker will be applied to the card upon payment of the membership fee

5. If you ordered physical student card, please contact us by email (jari.smolander@savonia.fi) to arrange delivery of the card.
6. Submit an activation request for the mobile student card
7. You will receive login credentials for the Slice.fi mobile student card in your Savonia email within 24 hours

Path Student!

You can join the Student Union SAVOTTA and get access to the green Slice mobile student card. As a member, you’ll enjoy various student union benefits on campus – for example, you can buy discounted movie tickets. In addition, you’ll have access to great national discounts through your Slice mobile student card.

As a SAVOTTA member, you’ll get:

• The right to vote in SAVOTTA’s representative elections

• The opportunity to stand as a candidate in those elections

Please note that pathway students are not eligible for VR or Matkahuolto student discounts, nor for Kela’s student meal subsidy.

How to join:

1. Give permission to transfer your student information and wait for a confirmation message.

2. Pay the membership fee in the online store.

3. Upload your photo for the student card order in the online store. If you already paid the fee without adding a photo, you can upload it later [here].

4. Submit a request to activate your mobile student card.

Once everything is in order, you’ll receive the login credentials needed to activate your Slice mobile student card in your Savonia student email within 24 hours.

2. After receiving the confirmation email contact us by email (jari.smolander@savonia.fi) and mention that you are transfering to degree student
