To join the Student Union SAVOTTA and allow us to order student card to you, you must grant permission to transfer your data from Savonia’s systems to SAVOTTA.

Follow these steps:

If you have finnish bank credentials:

1. Permission can be given via the Savonia Account service.

2. Log in using strong authentication (e.g. online banking credentials).

3. From the menu, select: “Permission to transfer data to Student Union SAVOTTA’s member register.”

4. Choose “Yes” and click “Save”.

5. Your information will be transferred to SAVOTTA’s register within about three hours.

6. Once you receive a confirmation email in your Savonia inbox, you can:
   ✅ Join as a member via the online store
   ✅ Visit our service points on campus (Microkatu)

Give the Data Transfer Permission

If you do not have finnish bank credentials:

1. You can drop by at Savonia student services helpdesk and ask them to activate the data transfer to student union.
2. Or send an email to Savonia student services, in which you ask the data transfer to be activated. Send the email to opiskelijapalvelut@savonia.fi from your Savonia student email. Remember to write your full name and Savonia student number (s2XXXXXX) to the email.
3. Your information will be transferred to SAVOTTA’s register.
4. Once you receive a confirmation email in your Savonia inbox, you can:
   ✅ Join as a member via the online store or 
   ✅ You can visit our service points on campus (Microkatu, Kuopio)
